










Katie Redford is a BAFTA Rocliffe TV Comedy winner and BBC Comedy Writersroom alumni. She writes for screen, radio and stage.
Her short film GHOSTED starring Alison Steadman, which she wrote, produced and performed in was supported by BFI Network and Film Hub Midlands.Her debut radio drama YELLOW LIPS aired in 2021 and she was nominated for the Richard Imison Best New Writer in the Audio Drama Awards. Her debut stage play TAPPED, which Katie received an Offie nomination for Most Promising New Playwright, premiered at Theatre503 in 2022 followed by a UK Regional tour. In 2023, she was a writer in residence with Theatre Centre who commissioned her play WISH YOU WEREN'T HERE which opened at Sheffield Theatres in 2024, followed by a UK regional tour including Soho theatre and Northern Stage. She was selected for Hampstead Theatre's Inspire programme in 2024, mentored by Roy Williams OBE. In 2025, her debut drama series FRAN & JOE aired on BBC Radio 4.
